Wondering if the Bodor machine is still working out in terms of durability and support. Recent feedback has not been
good with tech support as of late.
Thank you
yep, the 'surface prep under the primer' is very critical. With sandblasting if that metal substrate isn't all clean of dirt, oil, rust, corrosion, etc. then it won't have a surface profile and the...
My suggestion would be for Thunderlaser to advertise honestly about the components used within their laser machines. Inspite
of the website claim I was disappointed to discover the drive motors...
Reci is a popular brand but i've read that a watt reader shows their power is only about 85% of what you buy. So a 150 watt will typically reach around 130 watts. 150 is apparently only peak power.
Nothing real impressive with most of these samples. Not much engraving detail.
I used to use it but only with Win7 as I couldnt get full functionality with 10.
I had issues initially with my Co2 100W plowing through materials, but admittedly I didn't have my settings or alignment dialed in right in the beginning. Took me few days and patience to get my...
Where did you get this 'bee' file? I'd like to try it. Thank you.
yeah, if Keith's right - we won't say anything:o. Good luck with that
The EngraveLab software although a popular interface
in my opinion is not nearly as user friendly as Boss' latest card / software combo - LaserWORKS 8. They've
installed it in their machines for...
hearing that Hurricane Lasers owner (John) is both VIPlasers and now Laser Depot USA. cant confirm other than they're out of vegas
I can't say about email but Ive CALLED in and got alert, intelligent responses - every time.. questions I had about laser cutting thru 3/8" cast acrylic
were helpful, laid back w/o being pushy at...
Email? Red Sail is in China but they should still be able to talk to you via. phone? Troubleshooting via. email is too slow IMHO.
Hurricane is out of business. I have heard they opened up as VIPlasers. You can get your laser parts here in the US from Boss Laser | Laser Cutters & Engravers
w/ regards to the tubes..trom what I've seen both Reci and Puri have about the best glass tubes out there
in terms of achieving the agreed power. I'd probably go with a Reci myself.
Yes, I signed up to Hurricane or World-Laser's newsletter a while back and just recently got
an email from VipLasers?...signed by 'John'...
[I][QUOTE] Afternoon everyone,
We have room for 2...
Thats actually not bad considering the detail.
Wondering how this ever turned out for you Gene. Hope this worked itself out.
Overall impressed w/ mC. The 2D DXF functionality is somewhat limited
Meshcam is pretty impressive although 2D DXF functionality is somewhat limited
My review of ThunderLaser from my own research and speaking with them was ok.
I did like the look of their machines and sales was responsive as well.
Their English was pretty decent actually.
I...
I've got a few 50W-60W hobby lasers that use LaserCut 5.3 which is great interface...compatable with CorelDraw X6 and other graphics software that I already use and understand.
So, now Full Spectrum or Henry apparently goes by the pseudonym "Taichung" and "laserenthusiast"?... This is better than a reality show.
I'm not saying this is matter of fact but this goes beyond...
Dude...the headline to my post is "My FS Laser machine review"...thanks for re-clarifying.... I'd like "laserenthusiast" (cough...FS Laser) to speak up as this would be a good time for them...
Well, I'm glad I didn't order from this laser outfit. I discovered a 'sketchy' deal on Google whereby their ad offers a basic hobby laser 20x12 at a rock bottom price around $1850! I had to review...
