Yep, error persists.
No, sir, No (OFF). This is how it's written - verbatim: "Display a notification about every script error"
Yeah, BurrMan, the Switch to/retry is gone now. MUCH easier to live with. Thanks!
The "Display a notification about every script error" is in fact de-selected. And, was so prior to the...
BurrMan, just to clarify (for my sake at least) the 'busy/switch to' shows up first and clicking anything is a continuous loop until a timer expires.
If you're willing to go back and fourth I'm...
Shred, thanks for your input. I haven't read all of the article yet, but it's still on my plate. I will work thru your suggestion and let you know what happens.
Well, I un-checked "Disable script debugging (internet explorer)" and the one below it was already unchecked. Still no joy.
When the error dialog pops up and you select "Do not show this message...
Thanks for your reply Burrman. And, I should apologize. In my haste I forgot to add that I've turned off BobCAD live as well as online help. I don't know which IE revision I have installed as I...
I've been experiencing this problem from the VERY FIRST DAY I installed BobCAD v25 build 996 on my WinXP computer. I was just so disgusted I never contacted BobCAD to get it resolved. I've been...
.
Yep, SBC we are both having the same issue. Although I do have seats for V25 the guys and I normally stick to V23 for the two mills. One of which is a Fadal with CNC88 control. We use it in format 2....
Yeah, I've got the same issue. Not sure if this will help you, but it's what I did to work around the problem in V23. It DOES NOT fix the problem, but merely adds a note reminding me what needs to be...
Yep. I should've had my eyes open, too!! I didn't notice this earlier. Thank you for that little pearl of knowledge as well!!
That formatting deal WORKS on the variable I needed to modify, i.e. groove_depth_of_cut! What's interesting is you MUST surround the format specifier in single (or double) quotes. That tripped me up...
Okay, I found this on the BC website. Hopefully they won't mind me posting a link:
How to change the decimal format in the post processor - Powered by Kayako Fusion Help Desk Software
Also,...
I've pulled out my install CD's and I've been poking around in the files on CD and what's on the HDD. I can't find what seems to be what you have. So, I'm going to study what you gave me and I will...
No problem.
Yeah, once you get the post working you seem to just let it lie and move on to other problems. Unless you have an incentive such as a machine dealer, etc. there's not much of a reason...
Thanks SBC Cycle,
I did find that file and it is helpful to a degree. However, just my luck, the variables I need to modify ARE NOT described! I will poke around the BC website later to see if...
Hello All,
I have a problem with the Fanuc 18T post processor for BobCAD V25. When outputting G-code for G74 Drill Cycle the post processor, as downloaded, has two main problems. The first problem...

Here's a link to the operator's manual which was a very simple matter of doing a google search using your text above:

It's when using the spiral entry option on the pocketing feature in V23...
Generates hundreds of short, linear moves thus generating huge program files when only a handful of blocks/lines will do....
Could you be more specific? The only 'options' I see is in the feature edit form and it only pertains to chamfers. I see nothing in the preferences menu item, nor do I see anything when right...
@ Winna
If there is I cannot find it.
I will keep those parameter adjustments in mind for the next round.
I never paid attention to the moves generated but they are short, linear, three axis moves and not arcs. When hand coding I can...
@ binary: Sounds like you and I have taken similar paths. I can't remember exactly how the deal transpired, but I got their video training series as part of the package. Seems like the sales guy...
@BurrMan - You're a nut. :)
@JrMach - Again, thanks for going to the trouble to help. Hopefully I can get you back someday.
Was that for ONE hole or FOUR? If that was for ONE hole then you...
JrMach - I appreciate your input and help.
The ONLY concern I have regarding the length of G-code the post processor generates is troubleshooting. Not only in HSP but with spiral cutter entry...
Well, I wasn't going to mention it, but I have BoobCAD version 23 and based on my experience I CANNOT recommend it to anyone. I spent nearly $2000 on two seats and got a couple bells and whistles....
