Just hired on and looking at this tree 1050.
How do you manually tool change?
How to set up work offset?
thanks
Ok. We are hoping to avoid that, but we just might have to.
18iMB control
can't find 9932, 9957, 9985, 9937, 9906, 9995
goes to 8343
next pg down is
12318
It does have Tool Life Management. but its turned off.
It is set to 1
thought we had it, walked away machine crashed.
enabled edit 9000.
still working on it.....
frustrating.
Soon as it hits the M6 it clears tool data 1 and 2.
G5P10000 --- set the Fanuc SGI logic on
where do I check if Macro's are on? having trouble finding it.
3290 thru 3295 are all set to 0
It does not jump to another program.
we are not using any macro programs.318252
There is not any G10 commands in our programs.
I'm not sure about which system variables might be changed, it is a used machine, only been using it 2 weeks.
Yes. we can enter the tool length as : 5.3254 and it will zero offset 1 and 2 as soon as the machine starts moving.
That has no effect....... here is what all our headers post out: of course tools and x y 'are different.
Always G49 (clears offsets, in case tool lengths changed)
No matter what we do it wipes...
In our tool data page for our length offset.
everytime we start any program, the control clears the length data out of 1 and 2 tool data.
If we try and use T1 T2 ( H1/H2) machine will crash.
...
Its Heidenhain control programming. There is not much to explain. It can only be used on Heidenhain. Or I might not understand what your asking?
thanks,
Mitchell
I figured it out.
You don't enter a diameter. only use Dia offset to half diameter of the tool. It worked great, although I did sneak up on the offset, in order to get a nice thread tolerance.
...
Where do you enter the tool diameter for threadmilling?
4-40 UNF program
Thanks

Ok, I will try that....
2005 Land Rover LR3 (Discovery 3) Automobile....
No problem.
I will msg back tomorrow.
Cheers
Thats great I will give it a try....... Some of what I tested this am worked. I did get and error if I did not add a peck value to Q202 (plunging depth)... when it posted a zero, and error came...
Goodmorning...... Ok, my test model numbers are a little different. hole start is @ Z +2. ..... Z clear is @ 2.5.....random X Y position. My post is outputting M99 at end of cycle not begining???
...
Ok, I will try it again with the minus sign added after "Q201=-"... I will post the results later in the morning.
Thanks.
I do understand what you are saying, but lets say datum 1 has a boss above zero positive 1 inch. and gets a hole drill in it from the +1 inch to a depth 1/4 inch. the ending z will be a positive 3/4...
Thanks for the reply... yes I tried adding the minus... but it adds the negative even if it a positive drilled hole. Our WPC is not alway on the highest point possible. Thats why I have the problem....
here is what I have: Cimatron 3X drill seq. out puts a positive Z. and my post out puts a positive Z. I need a negative Z???
thanks.
IF (VAR_SET (CYCLE_4)) // <Spot Drill>
OUTPUT $ "CYCL DEF...
Heidenhain 530.
anyone know the Q343 variable string?
I really need a complete list if possible.
Thanks.
Ok, thanks alot..... our version is legal. and we have there standard post. Just does not work with 530 490-3 control level.
I'm going to try and modify it myself to get it to work.
Cheers :)
