What size and pitch are the pinions for the 3000 series???
I have a Delta VFD-B VFD on my little green thing in the shop, Is autotune a good idea, or can it do more harm than good?
And if it does good, is there a specific way to do it?
Does anyone have any pictures of a Biesse Sandwich nesting table pulled apart?
I´m gonna try and replicate the way it is built, on my chinese machine, to get way better suction than I have right...
I mainly run foam and wood.
But I’m also beginning to get more and more plastic and carbon fiber in the shop.
My machine is a Sudiao SD-1325
Very well built machine.
I'm running a HSD...
I'm also running a Chinese machine, and I have no backlash noticable.
Even brand new Biesse machines do not run with split pinions or dual pinions anymore, they also run with single pinions.
So...
On another note. Does anyone know how to setup an external, start and feedhold button on the syntec 6MB?
If your machine is setup properly, there would be no backlash in your rack and pinions..
I would like to add an Mcode for one of the buttons in my PLC ladder system, but I'm a bit hessitant just slamming in an Mcode in the PLC ladder system,
I have an output o89 I would like to be...
Hi Frankie
Well I got my machine just this month, and I must admit, this machine delivers all I ever hoped for.
It's purchased from Sudiao CNC Machinery Co Ltd. And the sales rep, have been...
Sudiao went all out on this one. Even painted inside and outside, which my last machine was not.
Fit is very nice, sheet metal used is thicker than on the cheaper machines, hence the weight of...
I got it to work, must be something missing on my shop PC, so I moved it to my Office PC, worked right away.
I'm not that experienced with ladder profiles yet.
I run a Syntec driven Machine with...
Having problems getting MLCedit to run on my PC... Is there a specific trick to it?
The problem was that I have decel set at 6 second, that tripped it.
I only have the specs on the motor,. not the exact modelnumber, as it's not imprinted on the spindle itself. They are marked...
Even without the braking resistor I could stop it with F003 set at 10.
And yes the spindle is aircooled, but it's an electric fan, so it will not be dependant on the rotation of the spindle.
Braking resistor mounted. Now it can stop in 2 secs flat. :)
I haven’t mounted a braking resistor yet. I have it on the shelf. Right now it was just a test to get the spindle running. So right now I’m one step closer at getting ATC on my machine.
Good god man, you are a genious... It never occured to me to run the basefrequency as 400..
But why would I want to set lower to 200Hz??
Not it trips the Over Voltage on Decelleration... So I...
A003 is the base frequency of the spindle, as I'm in the EU we run a 50 cycle electricity grid
Motor specs is as follow
Voltage: 380v
Amp: 16A
RPM @ 200Hz is 12000
Max RPM @ 400Hz is 24000...
I have aquired a few of these spindles and I would like to hook one of these up to my own CNC.
In order to do this I need a VFD for this, and I have got 2 different ones to try out.
I have a...
I have an issue that sometimes the drives on my X axis go into to protect mode, cause I'm using the built in parameters for a non Leadshine motor.
I'm very happy with the settings used for the...
I have a 2" FL so the speed sounds to be ok, then.. I was just told that running the laser at almost full power for too long would either fry the powersupply or tht tube...
I'll have a go ehwn I...
I'm on a forum on facebook called X700 clones, and there'a slot of guys telling me that they cut 6mm (1/4") acrylic at upwards to 15mm/min..
I might simply just be running a to low power. Some say 60-70% power 10-12mm/sec through 6mm clear acrylic. But I can only get half of that. Maybe they are cutting colored acrylic at those speeds and...
I have just bought one of these, and I'm having some problems..
It seems like I cannot get it to cut 6mm acrylic in one go faster than 5-6mm/sec, which I hear might be a bit slow. Some even report...
I'm not even sure if his build is here anymore...
Hi Robert.
No i haven't had any contact to Ron in a long time. So I don't know what he is up to at this moment.
I used some motors I bought from zap automation. I think it was 4.5Nm motors. They worked quite well.
Well I bought a smoothstepper for my machine, but I must admit I'm not pleased with it.
I had hoped it would boost performance a bit, and it did in rapids adding almost 25% to the rapid speeds.

All my cables are shielded and grounded at both ends, this makes for a great shielding on my machine.... I have never had any grounding faults on my machine...
Check oil levels....
