    Sean,

    Thanks for the reply!
The numbers are not ralated to tool diameter.
What I want is that I can assign a tool position in my tool changer and the offsets (D and H altough I only use D) stay...

  8. Re: Tool numbering in ATC different from tool offsets, why is it not AUTOMATIC possib

    Mike,

Thank you for giving your thoughts on the matter but I wanna try to make it as crash proof as I can, and doing it manually is always a risk.
I do it manually now, but I've come as far as...

    Rob,

    Thanks again for thinking along!!!!

I've seen line 267 in the PP but unless I'm missing something here, it only gives you 12 numbers albeit different from the ones in the ATC.
    I can add,...

  13. Re: Chiron FZ12 with siemens 810M . Softkeys not working.

Beware if you go to the initial clear mode, if you erase to much you need to reload TEA1, TEA2 and PCP files. Make sure you have them.
In official Siemens book error 12 states:

    -Error in RAM area...

  15. Re: Sinumerik 810M GA3 Alarms not resolved by usual reset

    Hi,

    You're getting close indeed.
MD2001 is for the first Axis and 2002 for the second one.
You can also determine the increments, that may cause the problem too.
In these you tell the machine...
  16. The 1st alarm is the problem causing the others...

The 1st alarm is the problem causing the others to show I think.
The UMS is the memory which (can) contain all backup and machine data. Since alarm 1 tells there is a indentifier problem I reckon...

    Hi,

I'm not an expert but I think you have a deeper problem.
The ORD number means the order in which the alarms pop up.
In your case ORD1 is the mean problem I think, the UMS memory is missing...
