    Using a probe is the best way.....but since I assume you don't have one a very simple way to accomplish this is to subtract or add the difference of the Z value into either G54 or G55 Z axis.

    Actually ALL VF Haas controls work exactly like I described. You don't have to (actually) enter the number in MDI or use a M06. Put a T# in the bottom line then hit ATC and boom...there it is.
