I think you're out of luck I seem to remember there's warning that files created with the demo version can't be opened with the full paid for version.

I definitely go along with having both, I've had too many occasions where one CAM system will not do what I want and the only option is use another.
Also just wanted to check you know in Fusion if...
Sorry I only put that up because the post above seemed to say they weren't in Fusion, I knew they were in bobCAD. One problem with the bobCAD version is the spirals are clockwise and changing the cut...
The posts for Fusion are in JScript and can be made to output pretty much anything you want. I modified a water jet post to post code for my wire eroder, I made it so it outputs 2 files one a command...
How about these toolpaths done in Fusion, Morphed spiral and Ramp

I think Fusion has both the option you're talking about in parallel you have Machine Steep Areas with minimum stepover and maximum stepdown. And 3d Contour you have Machine Shallow areas with minimum...
Sprut works with surfaces or meshes. When you set an op up you have 2 options 1 fast calculation where it converts the surfaces to a mesh, you can set the tolerance for each op. The second is...
Did you mean 5 axis here.
And just a note on Module works. I've used SprutCAM and it uses Module Works as well but it's calculation times are a lot faster than Bobcad, do you think they sell...
I think your info is out of date, a few month ago they leveled the playing field between the 2 versions of Fusion so now the basic version will have all the 3d toolpaths available in HSMWorks +...
I was talking about files you export not ones you save to the cloud. If you go to the top component in a design you can export as an f3d file to your file system, then you can use Create Design form...
It looks like the max is 360 days. In Fusion right click on your name, select Preferences and it's under general settings
Mark.
Just like to add, you can increase the 15 day offline cache if you want to. Also you can import\export f3d files but it's not as straightforward as save and open. There are some restrictions with...
If it's the same as a 100 or 290 and you have a file named ENGLIS.LNG on the machine then you need to enter LNG,ENGLIS to change language.
I have an old Robofil 100 and one of the axis will only pick up the reference point if I slow the feed down. I think the newer machines have a reference every 50 or 100mm so maybe slow the feed to...
Thanks I had not noticed that pdf before, it does make some of the conversions easy.

Yes there is a mix of microns and mm on the 2 lines that make up the G76 cycle, some make sense like pitch is in mm some don't like total depth is in microns but final cut is in mm.
I've contacted...
Hi Rob
Thanks I thought I'd ask just in case I had my sums wrong, would it be another case of inch metric confusion. I do still have support, I'll contact them.
Mark.
I'm trying to setup the G76 thread cycle. The problem I'm having is my machine wants all the setting in microns but I think the post is making all the sizes 10x to big. For example 0.6mm is coming...
Some more notes, if there are G02/03 moves you need to mirror IJ as well and I think you need to swap all G02s to 03s and 03s to 02s. Probably easier to mirror the geometry in BobCAD the more I think...
One thing to note, if you mirror a toolpath the cut direction will be reversed. If that's not a problem one way I've mirrored g code is, use replace then replace all Ys with Y- the replace Y-- with...
I should get my eyes tested I missed the file attached to the first post compleatly. All you need to change is remove the G64 on the first line then add a g9 to line 4 and it will run fine.

If you've got the G9 code in the right place it should use constant contouring. One other thing, you have the SX so no hard drive so it could be a problem reading the file from the floppy fast...
Just a thought if the Solidworks version supports "Save Feature" he could upload the .bcom file with the .sldprt file, at least we'd have a bit more idea what he's doing.

Hopefully he'll...
You would be able to open the sldprt file but you probably will not get the boundary curves, I don't think you'll get them if he exports as stp/igs either. Maybe need to have a dxf of the boundaries...
Take a look at this video, looks fully integrated to me. HMS works and visualmill for solidworks store tool paths in the solidworks files, I assumed Bobcad for solidworks does the same.
...
He's using Bobcad for Solidworks, take a look.

Try adding a G9 at the start of the profile, I think it's a modal code so you should only need it once. If you need to turn it off use G8.
Mark.
I had some problems getting a EDM post working, I found I needed to use GetUserEditRealSettingsVariable not GetUserEditRealVariable.
Just a tip but you can get quicker feedback using
MsgBox...
Here's another example with just a straight line approach.

I tried to email you the files but Gmail blocked the attachments, just in case you have no received my last email I'll up load here.
Here's some examples. SC1.iso is a 10mm hole drawn at 0,0....
