the CM101 has a relay that is rated 24V
so does that mean it can connect directly to the board?

sorry I made a mistake it should be under half a mill. Calcium sulfate heats up tremendously fast to allow the laser to melt the metal.

about 1 millimeter depending on the machine you are using, the Formula will also cut aluminum foil.

A honeycomb is used to vector cut parts to reduce the back of the piece from burning, remember that the laser beam can be reflected of a metal panel. You can also use Plaster of Paris reduced 50/50...

sometimes it helps to reinstall the software and the drivers because you could have change some setting without realizing it.

what is the problem maybe someone here can give you some guidance.

what is your budget? a laser engraver that can gut Carbon fiber in different angles should be around 60 to 100k.

You can reduce the Plaster with alcohol 1:1 ratio but make sure you wait till the formula dries completely.;)

If you guys are interested you may also cut aluminum foil with the laser engraver using the compound. If you are reducing with alcohol make sure you let the formula dry completely before vector...
