Did you ever resolve this problem?
I'm having the same problem with LaserCAD. I was able to work around it by opening my DXF files in LibreCAD and re-saving them, so I suspect that it doesn't like... -

Did you ever upgrade your laser? I have a K40 as well and my Moshiboard died. I have the same laser power supply as you and I would like to know if you were able to get that to work with an AWC608...
