Prolight Turning Center convert to mach 3?

Thinking about picking up a prolight turning center tomorrow for cheap. Doesn't come with old controller box, but everything else seems in tact. To bad it doesn't have the auto tool changer though, but for the price i don't really care. The machine would really compliment little prototypes and my KX3 mill.

Any experiences? Suggestions? Not my first conversion, but it will be on a lathe! Excited!

    Few pics.

Let me know if any of you have one, or have photos of your own.

If it is cheap, grab it. It looks like a great candidate for gang tooling if you cant find a tool changer. Is that a 5C collet spindle?

I'd grab it too, maybe this toolchanger would work.

I was going to suggest looking on Ebay for a tool changer too. Maxton always seems to be proud of their parts. 745 seems steep to me.

The lathe is $455, so a $700+ tool changer seems steep also, but if he's the last guy that's got one more power to him haha. Yes it's a 5C chuck I've been told. Does that mean i can buy a 5C to 3 jaw adapter? I have seen 3 jaw chucks on eBay an shars with a 5C arbor that I believe should work.

I also read somewhere that they made a version of chuck with pneumatic release and clamping for automatic bar feed? Looks like no one really sells parts for them any more at least what I have searched.

a few others also have a tail stock online which this doesn't have. I wonder if that was a bolt on option?
