Keling 4 axis kit wiring questions.
Hi guys I keep searching the web for a definite answer on how to wire this stuff up but continue to get conflicting answers. Can anyone help me determine the correct wiring for this setup? I'm using:
4-kl23h-286-8b motors
4-kl4030 motor drivers "8 wires"
1-C10 breakout board
1-kl-350-36
Thanks
Re: Keling 4 axis kit wiring questions.
Doesn't Keling (Automation Direct) include a wiring diagram when they sell you all this stuff? Or are you supposed to figure it out on your own? Have you tried asking them?
Re: Keling 4 axis kit wiring questions.
Yes they have wiring diagrams for download on their site on the pages for each driver or stepper.
Use this.

Re: Keling 4 axis kit wiring questions.
Ok thanks guys...on the diagram do I put a jumper between dir+ And pul-?
Also, I hate to ask this but I want to be sure. I have 4 motors installed...which one is exactly xyz and a?
Re: Keling 4 axis kit wiring questions.
Really what I'm wondering is...for the y axis there's two motors. Where do either motors attach to on the c10 board...is one of them the A on the wire diagram?

no it's between dir+ and pul+.
doesn't really matter where your motors are connected on the bob as far as xyz or a, that will depend on what you put in your control software such as mach 3 under ports and pins for step and dir.

I'm guessing your are using one as a slave on a router.
You still wire the "A" motor to it's appropriate outputs on the bob and put it's step and dir pins in ports and pins for the "A" motor.
Then in config/slave axis select "A" for the Y axis as it's slave.
Make sure the motor tuning settings are the same for A and Y.

Ok for it. Thanks again guys. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Re: Keling 4 axis kit wiring questions.
Ok things are going really good I'm almost ready to test...hopefully last 2 questions lol
My +5 vdc plug, I cut the round plug off the end and am left with two wires stripped...which wire is black and which is red as in the diagram? Also the power going into the kl-350-36 power supply, should it be just a generic 120v extension cord type cord to hookup? Thanks again guys couldn't have gotten even this far without help and I hope the questions make sens.
Re: Keling 4 axis kit wiring questions.
Ok, im starting to notice how out of my league i am lol. Guys im trying to determine how to hook up my limit switches, master switch, e stop. My limit switches are the proximity type. For my master switch and e stop can i just use any type switch or is it something specific? Thanks
Re: Keling 4 axis kit wiring questions.
My home/limit switch has 4 wires black, white, brown, and blue...how do I hook that to the c10 bob?
