As a Machinist for Choice Precision you will really “own” your job. This position requires a self-starter who enjoys a fair amount of autonomy but is accountable and responsible for their work.

Responsibilities:

• Program, operate and maintain state-of-the-art CNC Mazak equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Track your job time and quantities produced
• Maintain adequate machine tool and support tool requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Manage your work flow and be conscientious of efficiency and quality


Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a metal working and machining environment
• Experience with CNC programming
• Understanding of mechanical drawing, dimensioning and tolerancing
• Proficient in micrometer and caliper gauges usage
• Detail oriented and meticulous
• Punctual & reliable and possess a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude and desire to contribute is mandatory
• Ability to work 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the duration of your shift
