Gecko drive Delta ceramic printer
Hi!
I would like to build a printer like this one:
Delta Ceramic 3D Printer - YouTube
The parts I already own are Gecko drive - G540 4-Axis Digital Step Drive:
and Nema-23 motors (guess I will need only three), power supply.. Other stuff
like linear grids, bellts and pulleys etc are allredy ordered and will probably arrive soon..
The problem is, I don't know what software is appropriate for generating the G-code and driving the printer
in my case. I'm just a digital artist :)
Can anybody help me?
Thank you for any answer!
Best regards!
Aleksander

Sorry, I like the idea of building one of these, and I applaud anybody who does. But, shouldn't that have been a consideration before you started to acquire the parts? I hope somebody is able to point you in the right direction.

Re: Gecko drive Delta ceramic printer
I like it. Never had any practical ideas for a 3d printer because I can machine much higher quality parts. I never thought of printing ceramics. That is awesome. Finally a diy 3d printer I can get on board with. Oh and I noticed your first post was from 2013 so you had plenty of time to figure out what to do with your parts. 😉 Great job.
