I'm building my first EDM, a small desktop cutter, about 90x90mm cut area. total size 260x200x200. use 0.5 mechanical pencil lead as electrode.
l have buy 3 second-hand THK KR linear actuators for XYZ axis, screw lead is 1mm. I have buy second-hand step motor for every actuator, has 0.72/step. so I can move 0.001mm at both direction every half step.
