Carriage motor issues

I have been having a few problems with my Samson Plasma Cam but today while trying to initialize the carriage stops it give an error saying it is jammed and the motor is extremely hot I checked to see if carriage was stuck and it moves freely. I also just changed the Parallel port cable to a new one if it makes a difference

Give George a ring in tech, and I guarantee that he'll get you going again. Your machine is under a 3 year warranty, if anything is wrong you can get the part replaced for free. It might be a limit switch.
