Virtual Gibbs to Surfcam

I have been using Virtual Gibbs 2d for about 7 years for milling. Im getting ready to work for a new company who wants to send me to school to learn Surfcam and then to school to learn Solidworks. How hard is the transition going to be from Gibbs to Surfcam.
