Good morning to you all,

it's been a while i havent been in this forum
so feel free to comment my post and lead me to the best forum if required.

Our company is looking for lathes around 50 000, new, if applicable

I just wanted to have your opinions about this lathe:

stanko smart lathe s2080, on sale for 50000$ here in Canada.

We have this quite 2 old lathes in our company, most of the issues we are having is not being able to keep a straight Z axis movement, which results into shafts that do not respect an accuracy within 0.002"
from end to end, many of those shafts are 6 inches diam, from 24 to 36 inches long
lathes are just too old and we'd like to buy newer ones.

I need your opinion on this stanko lathe or any other lathe suggestions around this price we are willing to pay.
