CAD Designer

Founded in 1991, Garrtech specializes in the design and manufacturing of blow moulds for the packaging and commercial markets. As an industry leader, Garrtech’s experienced team of designers produce fully detailed mould designs, develop mould templates, assist customers with part designs and act as project coordinators.

Garrtech is seeking an effective communicator (verbally and written) for the role of CAD Designer in Stoney Creek, Ontario.

In addition to proficiency in UG NX CAD software, you are knowledgeable of Blow Mould designs and understand tolerances. You are equipped with 5 years of working experience in a similar role. Knowledge of UG Team Center would be a definite plus and some travel to the United States and Mexico will be required.

An education as a Mechanical Engineering/Technologist would be highly desirable as is experience in modeling and surfacing. Above all, you are a flexible, quick learner who possesses an excellent work attitude. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
