After a search of posts, I would like to know is there a simple, hopefully free or inexpensive software just to transfer files from PC to CNC, I purchased new PC and old software will not run on new system, really do not want to spend $1K or more for this operation. Just need to transfer the files from PC to CNC
OoPs, posted my follow-up in one of the links I was following. I should have said for windows 7 64 bit system. I have followed all the links but have not found one available yet.
There is Cadem Lite, free for one machine.

Thank you, I found that one on a google search, and downloaded it.
When I tried to run it it showed a msg box asking for a password.
Went back to the website and found a password for opening database and configuring 'cadem ' but could not get that to work.
any suggestions appreciated. thank you again.

You should look at Cimco Editor , there is a cost not large and you can even backplot the Gcode and send and receive with it.
