No drill points detected.....WTF?
Im making part that has holes drilled in it somewhat randomly. Ive some this before so must have forgotten how it works. I get only error messeges telling me "no drill points detected". This is after assigning all the holes with a drilling operation. Has anyone else seen this? Im stuck.
Re: No drill points detected.....WTF?
I know that if I have a tool which is larger than a hole I need to drill in another CAM package the toolpath won't include those smaller holes. Could it be something along those lines?

I'll double check and get back with you. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah that wasnt the issue. The mill drilled a few holes, gave me an M6 command and stopped even though there were no tool changes at that point. In fact it begins everything with m M6 command.

No it wont eben run the program because of the "no drill points detected. And gurus in the house?
Re: No drill points detected.....WTF?
It's hard to tell what went wrong without seeing the Cambam file.
Re: No drill points detected.....WTF?
Are the holes different sizes? If they are then a tool change would be appropriate. If the bit is smaller than all the holes you might try a milling operation in stead of a drilling one. No expert here but just stuff I've run into.
