Problem in Chinese laser CNC machine really need help
Dear All,
I have one of Chinese laser CNC machine shown in this links
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06bgotIiSPw
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4dRT-TXTvg
,The machine was working very well but suddenly the laser beam stopped.
Then we tried to turn it ON again by pressing the laser test button the light back but it very weak, when we tried to increase the power by the variable resistor the light turned off again. do you have any idea where is the problem
thanks for your help

On my machine there were several bad splices in the wiring, found after removing insulation on every one. Regarding high-voltage problems, I found the HV connector going to the laser tube severely arcing inside the connector, could not find a replacement so it was eliminated and spliced together.
So everything is suspect :-(

I tested all connection, the variable resistor and the dc power supply every thing is OK. In addition to that i replaced the laser tube with another one, same problem nothing change. The laser work but it very weak when i'm traying to increase power the laser turned off.

You need to test for high voltage without getting killed. I came up with a simple HV test I call the "Lucius Gale". I would suggest getting a Styrofoam packing peanut and tie a 8-10 inch long long dry cotton thread to it and suspend the peanut about 1" distance from the high voltage lead near the tube. At about a 30% setting on the power meter, fire the laser and the peanut should be attracted to, and stick to the HV lead. If it is and you have no laser beam then it's probably the tube. If it's not attracted to the lead, then it's probably a dead power supply or perhaps a "dirt"path to ground somewhere in the HV supply line. Blow out everything and clean thoroughly. I am assuming you don't have an interlock problem and the rest of the power supply is working. If the whole power supply is dead then wall plug, power supply fuse, power switch etc.

Had you checked that machine water protect sensor?
