FANUC controllers ethernet compatible?
We have FANUC 0M & 3M controllers. The shop is trying to locate the documentation but does anyone know if these controllers are ethernet compatible? I'm told that if the are, I don't need to use DNC software to load programs. Thanks in advance!

Re: FANUC controllers ethernet compatible?
As far as I know, the 0i-c controls and newer had an ethernet option.

Re: FANUC controllers ethernet compatible?
For sure no Ethernet on those old controls. Data servers came about in the mid 90's that had some form of Ethernet. Those were usually a very pricey option on 16M controls.
Re: FANUC controllers ethernet compatible?
Beacause you mentioned 16M controls (newer?), the 0M and 3M are much older? If ours aren't ethernet compatible, I will find a better DNC that can load from a laptop.

The 3 and 6 series date from the late '70s, the 0,10,11,12,15 series from ~1986.The 15b,16a,18a etc started in ~1991.
