Fadal 'WAITING...' I/O pin?
I'm wondering if anyone knows if any of the jumper pins on the I/O on the backplane board would go high / low when the machine goes into a 'waiting...' state. I want to detect if the machine is waiting for use on an external microcontroller.
I could monitor the circuit that turns on the blue light, but that signal flashes as the light flashes so it's not great.
Ideally there'd be a pin somewhere that I could watch to see if the machine is in a waiting state including:
doing nothing
slide hold
waiting for user input
And the same pin would have the opposite state when the machine was running a program either DNC or from memory.
any thoughts?

I couldnt find anything in the wiring diagrams , but could you put a clamp on current sensor onto the wire going to the waiting light and use that to trigger a relay?
