I would like to know what tool force a good NC router should be capable of. And how much should the (tool-machine) deflect under such strain? I know there is a trade off between rigidity and performance I was just wondering what there is in the way of benchmarks and specks. Also how prevalent is chatter and deflection resonance in machines and what could be done about them.
