I am starting up a machining center with corrousell, with fanuc Om, the problem is that when I ask for the tool change eg T2 M6, when looking for the safety height the z comes down instead of going up, the change point is correct but the carousel enters and when the z must be withdrawn upwards to remove the tool, it goes down again, is there a parameter where the safety height of the Z is defined?
the second reference point that is done by G30 is on parameter 737
so the change position distance should be there
i think you have G90 in the program fo tool change and the machine tries to go to Absolute coordinate from G54
I always do this b single block and check the "distance to go" area to see where the machine wants to go from the last command and why is doing that.
Post the program of tool change so we can see it.
