Stepper driver
Hello :)
I buy used ball screws 2005 with stepper motors oriental pk299-e4.5b. About stepper: 8 leads, 4.5 A, 2.8 V, 0.66 Ohm, 2.5 mH (each phase). On back shaft of motor was hand made "encoder", photo: https://imgur.com/a/yShHP. Motor driver is 1421.012.04, 1421.017.04, nothing more is written on driver, google search found just: 1421.012.04, 1421.017.04 Circuit Board T63918
So I want use this steppers as stepper motor. So I need your help to choose stepper motor driver and power supply for them. Budget for stepper drivers is not big, so Gecko is too expensive.

Maybe you can help my. Voltage for this stepper is 50 VDC? (32*SQRT(2.5)=50.59V) Is this calculation is good? Because 2.5mH is in each phase, or I have to sum them?
Another question is about driver. Stepper is 4.5 A max, so maybe to use TB6600 driver? It is 40 VDC max and 4 A max.

Voltage is just a requirement for top speed. Higher voltage equals faster movement up to a point which is based on the inductance. 50 volts gets you the top speed.
Amperage gets you torque. The TB6600 does NOT deliver 4 Amps, except in short bursts. Using the max rating of the driver is a lie, and a damn annoying one. If you run a 6600 at 4 amps it will overheat and shut down... if you are lucky. Otherwise it will fry. So it doesn't really deliver 4 amps "max" it is 4 amps /peak/, which is not the same thing at all.
I would suggest a well made, real (not knock off) THB6064AH driver, which will provide 50 volts and 4 amps continuous output. Not peak, continuous. Actually, you can get 5 amps out of them with a really really good heatsink and a fan on it.

But they are rated for 4, with a good heatsink.

Obviously I'm biased, and you can always find something cheaper on eBay, from China, but it won't work as well because the components will be inferior quality.

You can ask multiple people on this site and they will vouch that my driver kits are top quality, well made, and easy to repair ($10) if you do happen to fry the chip. There are other options, of course, GeckoDrive is excellent, there are some people who have had good luck with the, um, DM8... something. Can't remember.

About TB6600, Ok, I will not buy it :) About THB6064AH, nice that you make kits, to solder it I dont see any problems, but you are from USA, and I am prom Europe, so 4 drivers X 35 = 140 USD, I have to pay 21% taxes, then about 30 euros for customs declaration plius shipping, so sum of 4 drivers without shipping is about 200 USD. Too expensive for now.
Maybe you talk about DM860A? 7.8A; 24-80 VDC
Coming back to THB6064AH, CNC THB6064AH Two 2 Axis 64 Micro-step 4A Stepper Motor Driver MACH3 Biaxial | eBay for cooling I would use 100mm 220V fans. What do you think?
