computer hangs when start nc studio first time

hi all,
I have just build a cnc machine to run on nc studio card,
the problem is
when I install nc software and hardware with driver, everything seem ok''
but after this when I start the nc studio software, computer hangs and it remains hang for even 30 min
no other option but I have to restart the pc
I have core 2 duo 2.5 ghz, win xp, and other compatible parts in pc
I also have software version match to hardware
pls suggest some trouble shooting and solution to this problem
