Wiring Help Needed for Chinese BOB: Where do these wires connect?
I recently bought a used cnc router and I've been going over the wiring and I noticed that a wire was severed and I can't figure out where it connects. I managed to trace all the other wires but I can't for the life of me figure out where this one wire goes. It is a Chinese machine and of course there are no manuals that I can locate online.
The BOB is a WEIHONG 6B-EX1D5. The wires I am referring to are connected to the BOB at the COM and CUT terminals on the bottom right corner of the board. But I don't know where these go from here. Can anyone please shed some light on what these wires help to control?

Re: Wiring Help Needed for Chinese BOB: Where do these wires connect?
Looking at the board, I would expect that those 5 connections on the bottom right corner are Common ( gound ) and 4 inputs for control.
In that case there should be a switch connected to these two wires. In most software you can select the pins on the parallel port for different functions.
With a universal meter, you should be able to find the connection from the CUT to one of the pins on the big connector. Where is that one connected ?? this is not a 25 pin parallel port connector.
I found http://en.weihong.com.cn/products_de...ductId=32.html
Have a look at the site, perhaps it's not a input, but a output to switch on a waterjet cutter.
Good luck and take care, I don't see optocouplers, so no protection.
