When doing a pocket cut, is there any way to reduce the feed the first loop?
Hi,
It is simple question that I can't solve:
when I make a pocket cur in my cnc machine, I would like to start the cut with reduced feed becouse the cut diameter is same of the cutting tool. After first loop the cutting width reduces to 40% for example so the feed can be increased.
Is there any way to start a cut with X feed anbd after the first loop, as de cutting widht reduces, increase feed?
thanks a lot.

edit your gcode. the feedrate is the number following the letter F
you can have 1 F per G1/2/3 move, so you can set the feedrate as many times as you want.

Or if you want to adjust it in the CAM software. Make the first loop a lead in move and adjust your lead in feed rate to what you want.
