Hey fellas,
I was milling some desert ironwood and my spindle was slowing down and bogging out almost so I want to upgrade my spindle. I was wondering what spindle would work with my machine. I have a chinese 3020 cnc. I have upgraded all wires with shielded wires. I also dont know what else I will need to replace to upgrade the spindle. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Will a 400w spindle give me a good bit more power opposed to the 300w spindle I had? Any advice? Thanks again!
Probably not. I don't know if that machine can handle it, but I'd get at least an 800watt.
I would think that the 400w would offer at least a little more power then the 300w. This is the one I was interested in.....Quote:

Well, it's a lot cheaper than an 800w, so it won't cost you too much to find out.
