WTB a desktop CNC / laser engraver

Hello all,

I am looking for a desktop engraving router that will allow me to engrave text in small stainless steel buckles, bracelets, plaques , no more than 20cmx20cm size and volume of 5-10 engravings a day.

What machine would be best for the use I described above ? CNC router or Laser engraver? Are there Laser engravers capable of engraving through stainless steel metal ?

I would like to keep the cost below 1000 Euros, so if you folks have any suggestions , brands, links to share I would really appreciate it.
