Hi,
I've been playing around with a V2XT and can't seem to figure out how to zero the Z-Axis at the top of the part? I have tried Set_X_Y_Z and it dosn't seem to change anything. Any help would be appreciated.

"Z" axis zero should be dependent on the tool height setting...no? Or are you looking to do something else?
Hi SS_again,
Thanks for the reply.
Yeah I understand that the tool height settings are part of the program, but all I want to do is stick a tool in the mill, touch off the top of the part and set Z=0 for that tool. I can do this in my shop using Mach3 and EMC2. But the vx2t is at my cousins shop and I just use it when I need a big mill.
Can I do this or do I have to pick a tool as a default (zero tool) and then set my tool relative to the default tool?
Thanks,
Bob

Each tool has its own zero to set.
