we got 14 parts before the tool got dull which is about 140 min tool life

this dynamic path is bada** although its not new to mastercam x5 just thought i would share
i've been using this dynamic milling path in my programs for a whiile now and you can take the biggest pos machine and just hog the hell out of steel we have a 40taper horizontal with 10hp and got a 11 cu/in min mrr in 4340 225bhn!!

Nice vid! I bet you could even tighten up that extra travel. Part run analysis shows that dynamic toolpath is faster and tooling lasts longer. Nice job please post moe videos.

Very informative. That is what i am looking for. Last time i didn't so fortunate. My Hanita finish, 4 flute got chipped on the corner when i was trying ramping down. Maybe my ramping was too aggressive. Keep on posting vids.

I will look into using this.
I particularly like the 2 different rapid movements for internal and external corners.
I wonder if this would work on a Haas with a dogleg rapid move?

Do a search on you tube there are a few of these videos for this option of path. Dynamic pocket is another like this.Look in to that to.

Does anybody could give me a rough idea how much to spend on original mastercam 9. I am thinking to get one for myself, so I can work part time job.
