Re: verify finish tool path
Hello
The most efficient way I found for this is:
Click generate block in the task list, or the desired cycles (small tolerance <.05mm).
once created, display the block and select your entire workpiece.
you will be able to see roughly where there is material to remove yet. You can select the block and see if the machining has invaded the part as well.
translated on google.
Re: verify finish tool path
Internal machine simulation is super fast. Are you sliding the simulation speed slider over to the right? Or better yet just clicking the jump to the end button?
Re: verify finish tool path
It's not always super fast if you have some complicated tool paths.
I would generate a stock model after your finishing paths and compare that.
Re: verify finish tool path
Hi,
I’m new to hypermil, but when working with large parts, I only simulate the last operation and let Hypermill calculate the current stock in the background??
Make a dommy operation at the end of your program, it could be a drilling operation with a toolpath outside the model, and make the machine simulation from that operation.
