Tom, The new Kogna looks interesting. The KFLOP has been pretty solid, but mine disconnects from time to time over the USB port. Using a USB isolator really helped but it still happens from time to time. I noticed the Kogna has ethernet, so does Kmotion and KmotionCNC know how to talk to the Kogna over the Ethernet port as well as the USB port? I love the extra encoder ports which would make adding linear scales to a machine much easier.

Yes Kogna uses the Ethernet port for communication at ~10X the data rate than the USB port on KFLOP. The Kogna USB port is only used as a Virtual COM port for debugging, setting the Kogna IP Address and such.Quote:
