Simple AC Wiring Schematic
Haven't done wiring for some time and I would like to know if the attached schematic is ok before I turn ON the power. It's for the control panel for my new CNC and will supply power to PSU's feeding the stepper motors etc. The DIN terminals shown represents one terminal but there are actually 5 for the Black wire and 5 for the White.
Thanks
Re: Simple AC Wiring Schematic
Technically you are required to remove power to motorized equipment in the case a an E-stop.
For cabinet enclosure wiring there is the necessary requirements in NFPA79, there is a copy out there on the WEB, if you cannot find it I can send a copy over.
Re: Simple AC Wiring Schematic
Thanks for your time Al,
The E-stop wiring is not shown here because is part of the wiring of the BOB where I wire the E-stop as "Hardware Disable"
Regarding my cabinet enclosure it definitely will not conform to NFPA79 or anything similar. My enclosure is plywood made since it's for a home made hobby cnc mill.
So talking just about my wiring schematic when I apply power will it blow the fuse or it is OK?
Thanks
Re: Simple AC Wiring Schematic
Looks OK , I assume the DIN rail is showing the entry terminations?
