I dont believe so? I dont have any experience programming a VFD. I currently have PD070 set to 1. Is there a way to run the HY VFD's with PWM?

Ther have been that some have used the HY VFD Drive with PWM I don't know if this was correct or not, as their signal may have been converted to analog and they did not know it.
What most do is used a simple addon converter which you can find quite inexpensive, something like the attached snip, you can find them on Ebay / Amazon Etc.
Yes, this VFD Drive only has normally 0-5v / 0-10v Analog input for speed control!
This small board can use Step /Dir and output of 0-10v Analog so there are some choices you have.

Did you have all the correct Parameters set when you tried it, the J1 Jumper also has to be in the correct position for remote control.

Hi Mactec54, I think i have found one of those converter boards so i will hopefully get that setup soon. My only settings i set are as follows. Hopefully are correct haha.
PD001=0 (1 For Remote Control)

Yes PD08=240. Sorry i remember having to change a few when i programmed it.
Our mains power is 230v-240v 50hz.
I have attached a picture of the motor. It is a 2 pole motor fyi.
Sorry the imagine is hard to see. I coudlnt get a right angle.

Ok so all the parameters that you have set at 50Hz you can use up to 100Hz 80Hz would be a good starting point and see how the motor runs this will give you double the RPM when using 100Hz, so if the Bearings and the Balance are good you can have more RPM note the torque will be less than the base name plate speed as the RPMs go higher
PD011= 30 these are minimum speed watch for temperature and Amp draw at this speed you may be ok to go as low as 20Hz
PD073= 30
PD041= 6 to 8 Carrier Frequency check Temperature when using higher numbers
PD144= may need to be 3000 to get to the higher RPMs
