Powerpath 15 Programing , bar puller

I've had two of these lathes for quite a few years now. One with a air bar feeder and one setup as a chucker. I set the chucker up with a bar puller today and got it to work, but I'd like to get the machine not to do it in rapid feed rate. When I enter g code into the program(G95) feed per min and use G1 with a feed rate the machine won't allow it without the spindle turning. I can't pull the bar that way. Has anyone out there used a bar puller with powerpath 15 (dx32 control) and programed the machine to move without the spindle turning.

    Thanks, David

    My Error

It was a simple error in my programing.... I mixed up G94 and G95 in the program.

G94 is inches per Min and G95 is inches per Rev.

    Re: My Error

I am about to try a puller on my powerpath. Did you have success? What type of puller are you using?

    Re: worked out fine

It worked out fine. I bought a puller from someone on Ebay. It is a three craw puller that is adjusted with spring pressure. Only negative comments would be that the your stock has to be extended further from the chuck at cut off to leave enough material to grab with the puller. I like using the air bar feed on my other machine with a collet chuck better.
