Hi, I work for a small machine shop that just purchased esprit cam. I need some help getting NC code into our Hurco's.

We have been able to post programs out to our Mazak turning center. But we have had no luck with posting to our Hurco's (vm20i, vm10).
Is there a tutorial somewhere, or some advise?

Esprit has given us the latest post processors for our machines. We have tried running the code that Esprit generates with no luck, the hurco just says unknown g code.

Does running NC code use the same tool library that the winmax conversational programs use? Is there anything else that needs to be set up for this to work properly?

Make sure you are using Industry Standard NC on the Hurco instead of Basic NC. Or vice-versa if your post is set up for basic.

I am fairly certain the post is set up for industry standard. I know the hurco is.

I will double check that.

I will try and get a picture of the code, and the errors that I am getting.
