output from new laser tube suddenly weaker !

    Hi,

the output of a laser tube a few months old with not much use has gone significantly weaker !

I discovered somehow the head had separated from the tube, see image

glued it back yet no luck,

checked for cracks or holes along the tube and didn't find any , voltages seem to fine too,Attachment 233918

I am wondering can the tube be worn out even if there are no telling signs and just

from the head part having come loose ?

any possible remedies to have it working better and not have to buy a new tube ?

    thanks,

    Sorry.
"Heads" do not separates without any reason.
    Propably there was overheating.
    Why? Nobody knows.
You rather have to buy new.

    Hi
There was should be overheating causing the head of laser tube separated
Maybe sometimes you use the laser to works but forgot to turn the water cycle on.
I suggest you should be buy a new one to replace.
If you glued it back by some adhesive. i think the laser tube should be broken,
At the same time, there may be leaking when you turn the water pump on.

    Sincerely

    Hi ,my friend

    i checked the picture .
it is a 700mm length co2 laser tube installed in the K40 mini machine .
    1. the reason is not overheat . the reason is the glue .the quality of the gule is bad ,so as time goes on
the glass tube head dropped .
    2. please check the color of the window lens . if Yellow ,it is a ZnSe material .if Black ,it is a Germanium material .
and for the Germanium material windows lens , if not water cooling , the power output will be very lower, can not use .

    3. Solution : you can use a A,B glue to adhesive the glass water cooling head and test . if still the output is low .
you need think about to buy one . if you need ,i can supply with you , provide free wires connection for the tube Free.

    Best regards
