    newbie need help

    hello out there
    am quiet new to cnc.
    bought a 2nd Hand Cielle engraving cnc machine that runs on Mach3
    and using Aspire Vectric Software
    All is quiet selfexplaining und runs well, am happy of my humble results..
    the Problem though is when using V carve and using depth passes the Y axe seems to gradualy Change during the process..
    Have a look on the pic please :: would really appreciate some Feedback..
    I dont know where to look to fix this Problem

    It's hard to tell exactly what the problem is from what you've shared. Are you sure the stock was lined up accurately with the axes of the machine? If you think the Y axis might be losing steps, what happens when you tell it to return to Y=0? Does it go back to the place you originally located the zero point, or someplace else? If it's the latter, it's either lost steps or a mechanical problem of some sort.

    Thanks for the quick answer.
    yes, the stock was lined up well and the Zero Point moves up along the y axe every depth pass
    to contact the manufacturer is really easy but you need at least 5 weeks to get ans answer, that basically is "buy a new machine"
    please let me know what info you Need more...
    can this Mach3 move in steps? where do I have to look for that?
