Machine: Mori Seiki SL300AMC
Control: MSD518 (Fanuc 18TC)
Presetter: Renishaw (1-contact)
Problem: presetter works as it is 4-contact
All parameters was set as it is in parameters list

Are you sure? Did you check the D-data parameters?

Yes, I check ALL data.

what do you mean by '1 contact' ? technically you need 4 positions to touch off tools. I assume yours is the type with a square that can move in 4 directions?


what has changed? was it working before? did you lose all parameters or was there some other related problem? I'm sure it didn't just switch from 1 contact to 4 contacts all by itself......

To fordav11: thank you for attention.
1-contact presetter uses input X1004.2
4-contact presetter uses inputs X1004.2~5 for +X, -X,+Z and -Z directions
In my case presetter works only in +X direction, in other directions it changes X offset value and not stops moving of head.
Now problem is solved. I reconnect cables between AP-DTP1 card and CNC I/O module. Our machine was not in use about 1 year.
