    Mori Seiki CL2000 Commands

    Hello,

    I was asked to modify a code written for a Mori Seiki CL2000 with a MSG-805 controller so that it works on a Nakamura Tome TW10.

    While doing this I came across the following M-codes in the program that I couldn't find the function of:
    M12
    M72
    M73

    Is anyone else familiar with this machine and could help?

    M72/M73 is probably the parts catcher.
    M12 could be for a chuck open/close movement (generally it's M10/M11 for the main spindle).
    The complete list of special M codes for any Mori Seiki machine are listed in the back of the ladder diagrams manual.
