    Mazak VQC

Hey Guys, I am new here and I need some help. I have a VQC-30/50B Mill and it is giving me a ramdom alarm ( 2 Servo Lag Excess Y Axis ). When it alarms out the spindle drops down slowly into the part unless I can hit the stop button as soon as it drops. If I shut the machine down and start it back up the alarm goes away until it decides to do it again. It might take an hour or a day but it continues. Any ideas on what is causing this problem?

    Thanks

    David

This is the Novakon forum. Not likely to get answers here.

It's a forum for owners of Novakon mills and not a very good place for Mazak support. Try the Mazak forum here (if there is one) Practical Machinist - Largest Manufacturing Technology Forum on the Web.

Or are you asking what a forum is?
