    Makino V55 lubricants

We just bought a 1997 Makino V55 and have been able to source all the lubricants except the way lube grease cartridges. They go to the Daikin auto greaser and take the accordion style cartridges. Does anyone have a source in the U.S. to get these?

On a side note, if you happen to know where to get more of the through spindle coolant seals, that'd be great too.

And yes, we're in the process of getting set up with Makino parts services locally but was just wanting a secondary source also if possible.
    Thanks to anyone that replies.

You wouldn't happen to know anything about were to find the drum style screen filters that are in the coolant tank would you? Mine have some small cuts in them and Makino wants $806.00 each....

    Thanks again!

No problem Static. Does your machine use the stainless or cloth type screens? We machine mostly aluminium so we use the cloth type and purchase them from Barnes International. Makino sure makes a nice product but they have a serious markup on parts, good thing they are so reliable.

Thanks for the reply! It has the cloth type on it now. Are the stainless screens meant for steel? We do mainly steel and this is our first Makino anything so still learning about it. You say reliable, that will be nice as we have no desire to work on it. I have an older Fadal 4020 that is killing me on down time and parts....not to mention, it's not that accurate or fast of a machine.

Would you be willing to give me the order info you guys use when buying the filter from Barnes? They need part or quote number and any other descriptions. Thanks
