Does anyone have a simple z axis touch probe macro whereas I could zero the Z axis and compensate for the dimensional thickness of the touch plate? Basically the same as in Mach 3 .

I've completed macros for simple touch plate and automatic tool length compensation which includes an M6 macro.

Here is a modified touch-plate macro. No tool change, no fixed second plate, no specific X-Y position. Just jog over the touch plate, attach the ground clip onto the tool. Put the macro into the M31 macro in the proper profile macro file. As you may know, each profile has it's own macro file. You need to edit the macro to insert the touch-plate thickness. The retract height dimension was initially the difference between the TP, and .500, so the retract ended up being exactly .500 above the work. Then I added a line at the end, to goto a Safe-Z position, so the .500 dim is not seen. You can delete the Goto Safe-Z easily enough. I also added two comment lines, copied from the comment line warning that the machine has not been homed. One is a reminder to attach the ground clip to the tool, and the other is to comment that the tool Zero is now set, and will move to Safe-Z.

I am very new to working with UCCNC, and looking forward to further additions. From what I have read, it is quite a bit faster and more accurate than Mach3.
