The parameters for each make & model machine will be different. You can't just take a parameter list for one type of machine and enter it in another. Things like ballscrew pitch, servo motor type, options, etc. are all affected by the parameters. Try to find someone with the exact same machine and copy their parameters.

In all actuality, I could use the list of parameters and what they control as well! I don't know what manual this is in. I have an operators, maintenance and programmers manual for the 6T and there are snippets of parameters scattered throughout each, but not a comprehensive list....

Problem:

when i power on the control the dispaly of control(crt/mdi) unit show the green layers therefore i cant read any thing.

would you like to help me in this problems.

Blow some warm dry air into the crt for a time before powering up.Then check input voltages.Not had a lot of these problems with Fanuc monitors but common on GE`s.

i cleaned all cards with dry cleaner bt still same problem

Hello to all.
I had a problem with an old fanuc OM controller. I tried to make DNC connection but my dnc software(cimco edit5) just sent the file to machine. I try to solve the problem but now i cant send file! at start the controller shows me error101 and when i clear the memory and put the input button to start sending, the lsk flashes on screan.
i am sure the connectors are ready, because i had send before.
could any one help me?

Pull out the CRT base and econnect it If possible please try to check the Voltages on R G B cathode IF they are normal than you will have to replace the CRT . But I think this is a problem of Loose or rusty connection only. Because your manufacturer is the one of best in Industry

I always wondered what part numbers the CRT/MDI's were for the various 6M and 6T controls were. Was there a 6P?

Maybe they are one of these:

There are probably others.. any ideas?
