looking for 1/8 end mill with 1"cel

Wow this forum has grown since I've been on last. Any way I'm looking for a 1/8" end mill to cut out intarsia pieces , The material I'm using is 1"cedar , the only one I found so far is from PreciseBIT Soft Media End-mills!!! but they say I may get some tear out, If any one has cut out thick wood inlays with success I'd like to here from you. I have been using a scroll saw for this so far but would rather use the cnc router. Thanks Graham

Yeah, one inch deep assuming 1/8 dia. Rough. Make (relieve the shank) one then step down the passes in increments carefully as you now have a "weak" endmill, If it was steel this would be a no brainer. Two mills maybe? First to depth it can handle, second mill, unpredictable speeds and feeds. Am I close? Use an old, tired mill and try something?

The PB cutter you referenced is an 'up-cutting' one. That is, it cuts upwards. This can lead to tearing or burrs at the surface.
Have you tried a 'down-cutting' end mill? They cut downwards and do not tear at the surface. Google for suppliers, but PB do sell them:
