Limit switch help on 2110 motherboard

I am having a heck of a time getting my limit switches to work.

My computer is giving a solid 4.9v through the printer port and then coming out of the rutex board I am getting a whopping 1v through the limit switches

5v limit switches I know are bad enough with noise as it is but with the measly 1v I am getting from the mother board I get a false switch trigger just by thinking!

    any help would be great!

IE how to get that 1v up to the target of 4.9v

or if there is a way to change to 24v without massive changes that would be awesome too!
    thanks
    Michael T.

    Michael T,

I believe Rutex suggests a second (additional parallel port) and breakout board for limit switches.

A Pokeys I/O board would be a much cleaner and elegant solution, they have both USB or Ethernet models.
