    Lathe clamp

    Hello, fellow engineers
I have a problem with a few operations in Edgecam 2009.
Is it possible to make grooves (like those on img grooves between the arrows ) from the top position?
Secondary not so important problem: Is it possible to make chamfers (like on img chamfer) from top position without a collision? I only managed to do the ones on the top.
I attach my file for edgecam in rowki.rar. If anyone have a solution i have a possibility to open more recent edgecam versions.

    Best regards,
    Anna

    Re: Lathe clamp

the grooves could be done with a double angle keycutter from top position and the chamfers can be put on with a chamfer tool just use the start and end extensions (start/end tab) with a negative number large enough to clear the tool from the upright corner then blend chamfer to edge with file
